The Documentary Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to documentary production, education, and outreach. We produce feature-length documentaries for PBS, teach the Doc School for high school filmmakers in Northern California, and conduct outreach campaigns with our nonprofit and corporate partners.

The Documentary Foundation is committed to the advancement of the documentary film and its evolution as an artistic form. Our goal is to create meaningful documentary content and to educate, entertain, and inspire audiences around the world.
